Watchers are neutral mobs that spawn in all corners of the Cherry Forest from Watcher's nest. They are humanoids trees with a cherry head, a necklace with a bell, a lantern and various scars. The lantern emits a large light radius around the Watcher and can be used to avoid Charlie during the night if they have a good estimate of the player.
They health regenerate passively for 5HP per seconds, or 15HP while they are sleeping.
Behavior
The Watchers activity depends of the wind in the Cherry Forest, they will scout near their nest but return to it to sleep when there is no more wind which may happen periodically or during winter.
Their behaviors and reactions toward each player change depending on their Forest Reputation, they can be neutral, hostile but could also lend a hand in combat while on their good side.
Watchers are tied to their nests and won't go too far away unless they found a player to observe due to their low reputation or engage in combat.
If a Watcher is killed, it drops a Cherry, from 0 to 4 Living Log with 50% each. It takes 10 days for it to respawn from their nest.

In combat, they will be casting spells from their Watcher Lantern or stomp the floor if attackers are too close. The lantern has two different spells which usually alternate from the first to the second and can be recognized by the spell vine color and size:
- "Restrictive Zone" will create a large dark-pink vine, it takes effect when the vine is done growing then lasts 20 seconds. Enemies (players included if hostile) that exit the area take 100 damage and removes about 6.6 seconds of the vine duration.
- Targets that exit the zone cannot be attacked again so they may go in and out free of danger.
- It is possible to outrun the vine growth to not be affected by it or exit it while the vine disappears, but exiting it by any way while the effect goes on (even teleporting) will cause the damage.
- "Cherrybomb Invocation" will create a small pale-pink vine that spawn a Cherrybomb after a few seconds that follows a single hostile target at high speed, and detonates in 3 seconds dealing 100 damages in a small radius.
- Fast movement and running away early can help to avoid the explosion, Cherrybombs can also be frozen relatively quickly so they explode far from the player.
- They have 100HP and so can be potentially killed fast to stop the explosion.
- Cherrybombs does not damage cherry-like creatures or structures (walls, etc...)
The little outgrowths on the spell's vines can be burned to remove a lot of the spell duration to go out of the zone quickly or prevent the spawn of Cherrybombs.
Below is the number of hits it takes with each weapon to kill a Watcher when playing with characters with a default damage modifier. The Weather Pain and Mimic Darts are not included due to the random nature of their projectile.

Watchers reserves many treatments to players depending of their reputation tier.
If the player's Reputation is at 100, the next Watcher encountered will offer them the Broken Heart Bloomprint if the Dayliling Bud follow the player without knowing the recipe. This can be repeated every day if it has been lost and the previous conditions are still met.
