The Woodrang is a ranged weapon which deals 40.8 damage when fully fresh and lasts 10 days. Similarly to the Ham Bat, the weapon damage will reduce as it spoils down to half (20.4). It can only be obtained within Geodes by playing the Hide & Cherries minigame at the Cherry Stone.
Additionally, the Woodrang will have a faster speed when thrown than the standard Boomerang and returns at a slower speed after hitting or missing. While on its way, a continuous wave of petals will appear behind it, slowing all nearby mobs by 50%.
Tips
- The slowdown trail is especially useful during hound waves or against other large groups of mobs to run away or isolate a specific target while keeping most individuals behind the Woodrang, this can be controlled easily as both boomerangs and enemies are homing toward the player in the same direction and controlled speed.
