Butterdragons are a passive Mob found in the Cherry Forest. They spawn from the pond and act like a normal Butterfly. They can be planted to get a random Flower from the Cherry Forest already unlocked in the world.

Butterdragon size can vary, and with it the speed, the player range detection and the amount refill in the Cherraduceus.

Each Butterdragon have a 1% chance to be bloomy and loot the Bloomprint for the Cherraduceus. If the Butterdragon is big enough, it can be placed on the Perch set piece to get the Perch Bloomprint.

Bug Net.png Catching a Butterdragon

Butterdragons are not easy to catch, and can dodge the Bug Net if the action is not timed well, damaging the net in passing. This property is called "Swift" and is eventually required in the Beetlegale event in tasks.

To catch one, the player would have to wait for it to land on a flower and flick its wings. The Butterdragon cannot fly away for a short period of time while cleaning themselves, giving a chance to catch them.

The player can also try to catch a Butterdragon with the Cherry Cap if they're able to get in close range.
