Gooseberries are fruits obtained from from Gooseberry Bushes found in the Cherry Forest.

They aren't used for anything special at the time but a Crock Pot recipe (Spelunker Dinner) and a craft from the cooked item (Gooseberry Jam) are expected for the 1.7 update and are already present in the files.

Due to their bush thorny nature, obtaining Gooseberries is not especially recommanded until the player gets access to a Razor, allowing the trim the bush and harvest the fruit without complications.

Goop-o-Gooseberry

Cooking Gooseberries on a fire produce Goop-o-Gooseberry, which is essentially only a worse version but keeps the original Crock Pot values.
