The Hand Held Hibeescus Hive is a ranged weapon dropped by the Hibees Queen when Uncompromising Mode is active. It never breaks, but can only be equipped with the Veteran's Curse active, which can be activated by touching the Melancholic Skull.

To be used, this item needs Bees stored in it. When loaded with any type of Bees, the player can attack with the weapon to shoot them at enemies, dealing 15 damage at impact (does not apply poison and is not influenced by damage modifiers, like Warly's spices or Wolfgang's double damage perk), spawning the Bee already targeting the enemy.

When any type of Bee is inserted in the Hand Held Hibeescus Hive's slot, they turn into Bullet Hibeescus.

Bullet Hibeescus can only be obtained via the Hand Held Hibeescus Hive. Bullet Hibeescus have only 10 HP, but move faster, attack way more frequently and poison mobs that they hit.

Like common Hibeescus, Bullet Hibeescus' poison won't apply on other insect creatures, but unlike Hibeescus, they won't lose their stinger when attacking any target, and will also continuously stack more poison each hit they land on the same target (1 damage each tick, then 2 damage, then 3, and so on).

When they're left with no target, Bullet Hibeescus will panic and slowly receive 1 damage until they're either dead or called back to the Hand Held Hibeescus Hive, after which they will be fully refreshed and back at full life.
