A Cherry is a fruit from the Cherry Forest. They can be foraged while chopping fully grown pink Cherry Trees, they have a base chance of 38% (8% being from Double-Cherry) to be loot when the tree drops either one, a Cherry Blossoms or Grounded Petals. The chance of a Cherry Tree to drop an item on each chop regardless of the result will depend of the season :
Season | Drop chance per chop | Drop chance for Cherry per chop |
---|---|---|
Start of Spring | 20% | 7.6% |
Rest of Spring | 30% | 11.4% |
Summer | 20% | 7.6% |
Autumn | 10% | 3.8% |
Winter | 0% | 0% |
Some creatures of the Cherry Forest like Cherrylings and Watchers also appear to be living cherries, they are likely to drop one on death as well but killing them will grant the player a terrible Forest's Reputation which will result in making the Watchers hostile toward trouble-makers.
Cherries can be used as Crock Pot ingredients to make several unique recipes as Cherry Cake, Cherry Pie, Cherry Cola and Figulous Sorbet.
Raw cherries can also be planted to create a new pink Cherry Tree.

Roasted Cherry is produced by cooking a Cherry on a fire for a slight hunger and health improvement. Roasted cherries can replace raw cherries in the Crock Pot.
Usage
Trivia
- Raw Cherries can be loaded and fired into Cannons. They only deal 60 direct damage or 32 on splash damage on a smaller radius instead of the 200 and 120 from Cannonballs, but a Roasted Cherry can be recovered afterward.
- Initially this was meant to remain as one of the sneaky but discoverable features. However during the Year of the Dragonfly event update, a change made it so Cherries could no longer be planted but thrown instead due to their projectile nature. This had to be fixed but "I can't just push an update with nothing inside".
