Pink brings friendship, tss!

The Cherry Gem is an Item required in a multitude of Bloomprint crafts, like the Friendship Necklace, Cherraduceus, Pacifier, Friendly Fire Kit, Royal Dart and can also be refined into a Decorated Log when combined with 4 Cherry Blossoms and a Living Log for other expensive crafts.

Cherry Gems are renewable and can be obtained from multiple sources with a bit of luck or farming.

They can also be planted to grow Cheerful Trees, which spawn Cherrylings that can be useful to obtain additional Cherry Gems.

Cherryling.png Farming

There is 4 methods to obtain Cherry Gems. Two of them require at least one Cherryling, another from Fairyflies by refining them and a Red Gem. Wirlywings will also begins the game with a Cherry Gem.

Cherryling Ranching

A slow but efficient process, while Cherrylings have normal Seeds in their inventory (given from players or found by themselves on the ground), their stem will grow a few vegetal extensions until they reach a max of 5 seeds. As long they have seeds and eat something, they have a base of 2% + 1% per extra seed to exchange one for a Cherry Gem.

Petals are a must to ranch Cherrylings easily, the player can dedicate an area to grow a few Cheerful Trees in order to make a village of Cherrylings and plant some Cherry Trees around to cut them once adult, let the Cherrylings eat the petals in exchange of a few gems and plant obtained Cherries to repeat the process.

Trading / Hide & Cherries

Befriended Cherrylings can also be traded at the Cherry Stone, while the player has up to 4 of them, each of them will be exchanged for a random gift delivered by a Geode. It can be either some cherry-based Crock Pot recipes, blossoms, or Cherry Gems with a base chance of 21%.

If the player has 5-10 Cherrylings, the Cherry Stone will not exchange them directly but trigger the Hide & Cherries minigame, which also have a chance to result in additional Cherry Gems but with lesser chance as there are extra rewards from normal exchanges.

Dayliling Bud

Red Gems can be refined into Cherry Gems when combined with a Fairyflies, the player must first find the Dayliling Bud and help her to recover the Cherry Gem Bloomprint in order to craft it. This Bloomprint can be found by feeding a Cherry Gem to a Moleworm, wait for it to return to its burrow which will be destroyed by an immediately sprouted Cheerful Tree dropping the Bloomprint at the same occasion.

Compared to the other processes, this one is rather expensive and should be used the other way around to renew Fairyflies by using a Deconstruction Staff on Cherry Gems.

Filler.png Trivia

  • According to some character quotes, it is clear the Cherry Gems are partially minerals but also organics as Cherrylings "produce" them by digesting food.
